We had our annual Hiatt Family Christmas Party at Grandma & Grandpa's house the Saturday before Christmas Eve. We enjoyed delicious clam chowder & taco soup while visiting with everyone. Then it was time for the kids to act out the nativity story while Grandpa read it from the Bible. Kylee dressed as an angel...
She didn't look particularly excited during the program...
And finally just ran away...
She was happier just hanging out with her dad until it was over...
Then it was time for the traditional Christmas pinata! Kylee waited patiently in line for her turn...
She missed everyone singing the pinata song in Spanish, but still had fun trying to break the pinata open...
Finally, it was time for Santa to visit the kids & give each of them a gift from his bag! Kylee was NOT excited when she saw that Santa was there...
When Kylee's name was called, she was pretty worried...
But started warming up to Santa once she realized how nice he was & that he had a gift for her...
She even said a few very quiet words in the microphone...

By the time we got back to my parents' house after the party, Kylee was completely wiped out...
We met Linc's parents & two of his siblings and their families at the Mesa Temple lights. Lincoln's mom offered to take Kylee, Daisy & Hallux back to Snowflake with her that night, so we let her. :)
The next day, Lincoln & I packed up our stuff & headed to Snowflake.
