Some Randoms

We are missing Lincoln like crazy these days!
How cute are these two?!
Kylee loves to pet Daisy while she drinks her bottle...
(P.S.-Any tips for getting Kylee off the bottle? She is very attached!)
Kylee has learned the dreaded word "NO!" and loves to say it. She shakes her finger at me & says it when she is upset. She feeds her food to the dogs & then tells them "no" when they eat it. She says it to her toys when she trips over them & hurts herself.

She also says "Bye!" to everyone & everything she sees: the flowers, the store, the swings, etc. My favorite is when I get her out of the bath & she yells "Bye!" to the water as it is going down the drain. :)

By the way...I will celebrate the day when Kylee gets her last tooth. Teething is a challenge for her, that's for sure!

Have you tried the Nuby sippy cups? They have a soft spout on the top, more like a bottle nipple. It might be a struggle at first, but after the first day or two, she'll realize the bottle isn't coming back and she needs to drink from the sippy :) Good luck!

Does she like sippy cups at least?
Now I don't feel too bad that Blake still has a bottle in the morning. We could probably get him off it easily, but Jeff likes the easiness of just doing that as soon as he gets up...and he's in charge of Blake in the morning, so it's his thing!

Go COLD TURKEY!!! I just took Allison's binky away. The first few days are hard but she is WAY over it... Just throw the nipples away so you cant give in. Give her sippy cup with her milk. She will probably tell you "NO" (ha ha) But she will learn thats the only way she is getting her drink!! Good luck! Allison says "NO" to EVERY Thing. Some times its funny but some times its not so funny! Sad that its one of there first words!

Just take it and pack it away so you aren't tempted to give it back. Laynee always refused sippy cups until she went about 6 hours with nothing to drink (because she wouldn't use the sippy I offered). After that she figured out how to work with MY agenda...
